Senior Product Engineer (Full-Stack) / Product-minded Engineering Leader
Felipe R. Broering

Mini Bio
Senior Product Engineer and product-minded engineering leader with 15+ years building complex digital products from discovery to production.
I work best in full-cycle product engineering: understanding ambiguous business or user problems, modeling the domain, designing the architecture, building the software, shipping to production, monitoring real-world behavior, and iterating based on evidence.
My background combines hands-on full-stack engineering, product management, cloud platforms, AI-enhanced engineering workflows, healthcare technology, hardware integration, and engineering leadership. I have worked as a software engineer, product manager, CTO/founder, engineering manager, head of engineering, and hands-on product engineer.
I am especially strong in environments where product and engineering cannot be separated: complex workflows, operational systems, regulated domains, cloud-native platforms, internal tools, integrations, automation, and systems that need to be reliable in production.
Over the last several years, I have led and built platforms used in critical healthcare operations, including Coreum at Micromed, featured by Google Cloud for its cloud modernization, cost reduction, performance gains, large-scale data migration, and zero-downtime release capabilities.
I also enjoy building useful open-source tools that solve real problems for myself and others, especially around developer experience, local-first systems, automation, AI-enhanced engineering, and practical product workflows.
How I Build
I approach product engineering as a full-cycle discipline.
My preferred loop is:
Problem → Domain model → Product behavior → Architecture → Implementation → Production → Observability → Iteration.
I like to start close to the real problem: users, workflows, business constraints, operational risks, edge cases, and success criteria. From there, I model the domain, design the system, build the product, ship it, monitor how it behaves in production, and improve it continuously.
AI is part of my workflow, but not the point of the work. I use coding agents, terminal-first tools, structured prompts, reusable skills, local harnesses, automation, tests, ADRs, code review, data analysis, and validation loops to move faster while preserving architecture, maintainability, and accountability.
